Doug Renert has nearly 20 years of technology experience, team building, and helping startups. Mr. Renert is a Partner and Co-Founder of Tandem, Silicon Valley’s mobile industry accelerator venture fund. At Tandem, Mr. Renert works side-by-side with start-up technology companies investing his sweat and Tandem’s funds to increase the odds of success. Tandem is now deploying the capital raised in Fund II after generating phenomenal returns in Fund I.

Prior to co-founding Tandem, Mr. Renert served as CEO of Tello, a telecommunications start-up backed by Craig McCaw and others. Prior to Tello, Mr. Renert served as VP of Corporate Development at Oracle where he specialized in Mergers & Acquisitions. In the 1990’s, Mr. Renert was an Associate Attorney at DLA Piper specializing in Mergers & Acquisitions.

Mr. Renert graduated with a B.A. from Princeton University. Mr. Renert also earned a JD and MBA from University of California Berkeley.
